“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
– Theodore Roosevelt
There will always be
inevitable moments in your life where things will fall out of place and certain
people will wait to see you fall and not stand right back up. In this very
moment the only thing you have to do is defy gravity’s rules and stand right
back up. Believing in you will develop your inner strength and confidence. Your
strength is beyond what you can ever imagine, and your ability is far beyond
your limits. Despite what has happened in the past, there is always time to
change and a chance to have a brighter future. There is always time to forget
your failures and strive for your success. People are constantly in need for
good things to happen to them but they have to make them happen. Believing is a huge boost in your confidence
and strength. Regardless of what your outer self appears to be, there was
always a fighter inside of you. Self-acceptance will lead you to the road of
confidence. Stop rejecting yourself and pointing out your flaws, you’re human
and humans are not made to be perfect. Confidence is not showing off, or doing
everything. It is showing yourself and the rest of the world that you have
something to offer to the world. Confidence is believing that you are worthy of
love, life and happiness. Confidence is trusting yourself in being able to
handle situations maturely, even when the results are not always pleasing because
you will gain knowledge and experience each time. Don’t be afraid to take risks
and get out of your comfort zone. Despite being surrounded by people who are
afraid, challenge them and teach them. The world is filled with adventures and
mysteries that people are bound to discover sooner or later, why not start now?
When you have a goal set, you are 1/4 way there. When you believe that you are capable
of successfully reaching this goal, you’re ½ way there. At this point, you have
not done anything physical, although you are mentally ready. Your mind is a
very important and powerful thing that is capable of creating beautiful things
yet it is incredibly destructive. By believing in yourself, you’ve immediately
set no limits to your dreams and desires. You are capable of achieving the
biggest accomplishments, and winning the most significant prizes but it all
begins with a little word. Believe.
“There were times of hardship
when people forget the courage they need to keep fighting; and survive. But I
think as long as we have something to believe in; to keep close in our hearts,
courage will never truly leave us. We only have to reach deep in our heart to
find it.” In your lowest points and scariest moments courage is your
savior. Every human in this world has the potential of outgrowing his or her
deepest fears and find courage even if it was buried into the deepest points of
your heart. Pain, suffering and troubles will chase you no matter where you are
and who you are. It will hurt you. It will damage you. It will bend you. But
don’t ever let it break you.
“Pain
is a pesky part of being human, I've learned it feels like a stab wound to the
heart, something I wish we could all do without, in our lives here. Pain is a
sudden hurt that can't be escaped. But then I have also learned that because of
pain, I can feel the beauty, tenderness, and freedom of healing. Pain feels
like a fast stab wound to the heart. But then healing feels like the wind
against your face when you are spreading your wings and flying through the air!
We may not have wings growing out of our backs, but healing is the closest
thing that will give us that wind against our faces.” – C. Joybell C.
No matter how hurt you are, there is always
sunshine at the end of the tunnel. Believing in you will not only strengthen
you but also set you free. It will you unleash you to the world of
opportunities and courage. You might be
wounded and damaged but you can and will be fixed. You will heal. Finding confidence in yourself is beautiful
and inspiring, yesterday you might have been a fragile and vulnerable person
lost in this world but today you are stronger, braver and more powerful.
Strength is not only on the outside, but it has been within you ever
since. Anything is possible when you
start believing in yourself, so don’t give up when things start do go downhill;
there is always time for you to bring it all back up to the highest point.
Never stop believing in yourself even when the whole world is against you.
Reluctance
will hinder you from achieving your goals but the power of believing is much
more powerful than hesitancy. Despite all the big and small obstacles you will
face in your life and in the process of fulfilling a goal, grasp the tiniest
ray of hope and courage and keep it close to your heart. It will protect you in
your time of vulnerability. Stay strong.
